Jet ski Dunk Island Jet ski Queensland

Dunk Island is known as Coonanglebah by its original aboriginal inhabitants which translates as 'the island of peace and plenty'. During our jet ski tours we often see this reflected in the abundance of wildlife that we encounter which often includes manta rays, turtles, sting rays, reef sharks, pods of dolphins, migrating whales and a solitary white goat that escaped from the farm on the island and is now happily fending for itself.

Our jet ski tours are personal, fun and customised to your riding style whether that be fast and furious or laid back and relaxed. We recommend you do both, go slowly over the reef sections and you are likely to see beautiful manta rays and turtles then hit the gas out the back of Dunk Island on the deep water sections. We take a maximum of 4 jetskis on each tour, including guide, thus ensuring that you get the most from your journey whilst stopping off on the deserted beaches accessible only by boat.

You do not need a boating licence to come on one of our jetski tours in Queensland but riders in charge of the controls must be aged 14 years and over. Our tour guides will instruct you through a full safety briefing before setting off. We also offer jet ski hire in 20 minute blocks from the calm bay on Dunk Island by the beach bar and restaurant.

Cairns International Airport and its Domestic counterpart are only a 2 hour flight from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Come and join us in our beautiful part of the world just off the coast from Mission Beach and see what you've been missing. There are plenty of travel options from Cairns to Mission Beach but self-drive is even better as you can stop off at rainforest swimming holes on the way such as Josephine Falls and Golden Hole. Call us or email and we'll let you know the best option to fit your budget.
